About GrowingClinic
What This Site Is For
Running a medical practice or aesthetic clinic is one of the most demanding business challenges there is. You trained for years to deliver exceptional clinical care.
Yet the business side of practice ownership, such as cash flow, software decisions, lease negotiations, staff compensation, marketing ROI, is where a great deal of time, money, and energy quietly disappears.
That gap between clinical excellence and business confidence is what GrowingClinic exists to close.
This site is written for independent practice owners, med spa operators, and healthcare entrepreneurs who want clear, financially grounded guidance on the business side of what they do. Practical analysis, honest comparisons, and the kind of financial thinking that helps you make better decisions with real money.
Who Is Behind It
My name is Nathan Sherry. I spent over 30 years in accounting and finance, in public practice as a Chartered Accountant, and in senior commercial roles in multiple industries.
Since retiring from those roles and for past 16 years I have run specialist websites in the tax and finance sector, which means I understand both the financial mechanics of running a business and the practical realities of building a content resource that people actually find useful.
I am not a clinician. I have never run a medical practice.
What I bring is the ability to read the numbers, cut through vendor marketing, model the real cost of a software subscription, and explain financial concepts in plain language.
In a sector where most business content is written either by software companies selling you something or by generalist bloggers with no financial background, that perspective is, I think, genuinely useful.
GrowingClinic focuses particularly on the business of med spas, cash-pay clinics, and independent concierge practices. These are fast-growing segments where the financial and operational decisions are often made without adequate information. If that is the world you operate in, this site is written for you.
How the Content Is Produced
Every article on this site starts with a research brief and is drafted with the assistance of AI tools, then reviewed, edited, and supplemented with original financial analysis by me. I do not publish content I have not read critically and checked for accuracy. Where I have a commercial relationship with a product or service mentioned on this site, that is disclosed.
The goal is to publish articles that are genuinely worth reading.
Stay Connected
If you find the content useful, the best way to stay in touch is on LinkedIn, where I share analysis, commentary, and new articles as they are published.
